Meet the founder

Rebecca Woods, founder of Bluebird Leaders, is an accomplished senior executive, with more than 17 years of experience in IT and healthcare administration. She is known for her expertise in helping hospitals and ambulatory health systems implement and utilize their electronic health records (EHR) efficiently and effectively. Throughout her career, Rebecca has used her strong engagement skills, extensive operational knowledge and strength in building teams to achieve her career success.

Currently, Rebecca is the Senior Vice President at Divurgent. A solutions provider focused on what matters most to our client partners. We disrupt the typical value equation by using data-infused, flexible, and scalable solutions that demonstrate and quantify value for our partners.

Divurgent is committed to IT evolution, deploying tailored solutions that help our client partners achieve improved operational effectiveness, financial performance, and quality of customer experience. 

Currently, Rebecca is founder and Fractional Chief Information Officer (vCIO) of Bluebird Tech Solutions, which offers a full range of support and consulting services for healthcare and information technology organizations. Prior to starting her own company in New Hampshire, she was the Vice President of Provider Services for LRGHealthcare in the state. A Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the University of Vermont’s Porter Medical Center, Rebecca had department oversight of Information Technology, Medical Records, Central Access Center, Education, Plant Operations and Compliance

She also holds a project management (PM) certificate through the University of Villanova and serves on the New England Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), serves on the Board and as the diversity, equity, inclusion committee char. 

During her career, Rebecca has focused on meeting each organization’s needs by increasing efficiency and implementing transitional and sustainable changes. She has been recognized for her excellent leadership, valuable insight and ability to assist in setting the path for long-lasting success.

 

Rebecca received a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in communications from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and leading an active lifestyle competing in triathlons, running races (including a marathon) and boating with her family.
